I'm loving this bike Mark although your lawn/flower bed/hay meadow needs a little attention

Cheers guys. Yep, nice bodywork Mr Matty!

The garden is a lightly mowed meadow effect zone so I am glad you have noticed my hard work. I'll take a few artier (for me) pics and show you the top end and the wood pile, the rampant weeds and the towering triffid!

I took it for a ride on the road the other day and I have managed to cure the handling issues and all I need now is to swap my RVF linkage over from no9 and possibly the RS shock for now to make it a but more on the nose.

Scutineering is scaring me but as long as I have all lockwiring and everything tight I'll be rocking.

Also fitted these forks -later adjustable type in fine fettle and setup for the heavier person 8-)

Image

Replaced these tacky polished numbers..

Image

Had a nightmare fitting my race wheels - found that I had visibly warped discs..!! Not to worry, I had another set spare...and one of these was fecked. :tits:

So..off with the No9 wheel and onto the race bike.. NC23 wheel, Stealth wavy rotors and what the hell..I'll fit the entire braking system too.. in for a penny, in for a pound!

Image

So, I now need to fit the calipers and bleed them. New pads to be fitted Thursday. Bodywork to be fitted and all bolts nipped up for safety's sake.

I need to know how people are keeping their brake line safe on the swingarm? Run a chain guard? zipties?

Any advice or pics for this would be great.

Once this bike is done I have to strip and eaplce the fork seals on the FZR and make sure that is also ready for it's introduction to the PI600 class. I am shitting it with those axe murderers...but hey! I paid good money to get a licence and go racing so dammit..I'll go crazy and see about not getting lapped..lol

If it rains I am screwed and will prob get bankrupted as I'll need to buy some wets..Hoping for dryness..but if wet then we'll see how it goes!

rock on

Friday is an ACU test day mate so I guess normal TD style - 3 groups...they never said it was open pits but it may be.

Me and Simmo are going to be there so keep your eyes out for a very very orange ZXR, my multicoloured NC and a flouro yellow FZR3TJ.

I'll have an Enterprise rental van and a bored wife too. :sshh:
