12.2 is almost flat.. charge it up with a battery charger.

maybe you shouldn't do so much all at once when you don't know what your doing.

instead work on one thing at a time until you understand fully how it comes apart and goes back together.

the negative earth from the battery bolts to the frame, very near the subframe bolts.

Do you have any lights at all? Perhaps you havn't connected something (charge battery first though)

If it's drained so quick you probably have a knakered battery.. after fully charging get the bike running and do an electrical system test.

If your worried about water in the electrics spray wd-40 into all the connectors, it will get rid of moisture

hmm okay, il charge the battery up. but when i turn the ignition there NO lights on. not the neutral switch not the oil lights, none. and i thought thats where the negative lead connected...but when i connect the lead there i can see a bright orange spark sometimes...is that meant to be like that? an wbout the wd40 would that not affect the connections at all?

Have you connected the negative lead, ignored the sparking, and found that nothing works?

Okay i just tried the bike again. and now the lights come on...but when i try to start the bike. all i hear is a click...and a spark...is it shorting out somewhere? :\

EDIT: i can only hear the relay clicking sorry, not the spark...and it says i have 12.16v on the battery..is that why its not actually turning over but only the relay clicking?.

As I said above.. the battery is flat, charge it before doing anything.

the click is becuase of this.
