Of course :)) There is no reason to pay for new disk just for view, isn't it ?

Some shed time today swapped the disc n stuff over on the wheels but that's not important this is....
Ta.Daaaaaaaaaa
Just need to four the clutch and that really is as far as I can go until I get the head back and the casings powdercoated.
Had a go at the calipers as well, this was a quick 10 minute scrub and they have come up ok but I'm going to do them properly once I've got the pistons out.

Is it wrong to be a little "aroused" at the sight of that super clean engine????

What did you use to get the engine to come up as clean as that?

Right started the calipers 1 down 1 to go full scrub up new seals all round.
Cant believe the filth behind the dust seal....these calipers are 10 years old and well in need of a service makes you wonder at the state of some people's brakes on 15-20 year old bikes that have never been properly serviced.
Anyway they come up allright...

[quote="selexon"]Hi Tanuki the Dyna coil bodies are a little bit bigger then the oem ones but bolt up to the same diameter spacing which makes them an ease to fit. I had to make some longer alloy spacers to lift the coils from the frame 5mm or so. The coils are 3ohm not 5ohm as I quoted before. The std plug end can be kept and new HT lead was used.
The difference you get is they are a stronger spark about 40,000 volts, which leads to a better combustion and slight difference in throttle response could be felt as well.

Yes but it's unlikely they will fit where your coils do now

So finally a bit more to add here we have the first draught of the subframe in ally and it's pretty good, the actual ones will be much slicker, just need to add a cous of bits and it's going back to be made up properly.
I'm also having a battery box fabricated so that it fits under the hump.
In other news Ray Stringer is seconds away from finishing my headwork so with any luck I should be picking that up at Mallory on boxing day...
Fucking yay!!
