YeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeHaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa! Get stuck in Jeff we wanna see it finished. Now I've been a good boy and done my bit on the bike for the day (new seat unit project is coming along nicley,I'll make a post soon), so options 1 and 2 are sounding great to me.

Busy weekend so long posts and more pics. I am completly exhausted. I need to take a break. Although I got a lot done I am a little burnt out and frazled at the moment. I'll be out of town the next few weekends so it will be a while before I can resume the build. Time to step back and evaluate. I must say I have pressured myself to take it slowly and re-check and triple check my work. Between referencing the Haynes manual and the ton of digi pics I took during the tear down I have everything covered. One critical mistake on my part was caught at the last minute. There is a small spacer on the lower engine mount and I labeled it as going on the LEFT, whereas the manual says it goes on the RIGHT. I had already screwed the lower mount in but it just seemed tighter than it should have been. Reversed the spacer and it went right together. I wasted over an hour trying to find a small bolt that I had dropped mounting the undertray. I ended up cleaning up the entire garage in my search but didn't find it and then I had a theory. You know how you drop something and you hear it fall and hit something? So I envision the bolt falling out of the hole near the front left along the side of the shock. In the front of the swingarm on the inside are two large holes in the casting. So I think, ah shit, it went in there! So I get the little magnetic parts grabber and start jabbing it around the two holes, as I didn't know which side it went down. And at this point I still wasn't convinced that was where it was, but I had a hunch. So I grabbed some painters tape and taped up the two front holes and the large rear hole. Charged up the air compressor and inserted the air nozzle in the front taped up hole and tried to blow the bolt through the swingarm to the back. After several attempts I was quite happy to look up inside the swingarm from behind and I could see the bolt. Grabbed the magnetic grabber and I fished it out. Wasted an hour just for a stupid little bolt. Argh. Anyway, I mounted the frame to the engine as opposed to putting the motor in the frame. Mounted the shock and swingarm, rear axle hub assembly, installed new rear brake pads, mounted the rear subframe and undertray, all the wiring harness, front lower triple, frame stay and guages, airbox, new air filter, mounted the coils, CDI, rectumfrier, and a few other odds and ends. Mounted and balanced the tires (see below), bolted on the rotors. What's holding me up now is the front forks. I can't do anything else on the front, can't add the top triple and clip ons/controls, can't add the exhaust or radiators until I can get the bike off the floor lift. I need to rebuild the forks and change the fork springs, and possibly re-valve. The body panels are not finished yet so I can't really go much further. Time to kick back and drink a cold one. Fuk, tomorrow is Monday!!!!! On with the pics.....................................

Yes, I checked the wheel only, the wheel and tire, and wheel and rotors to get an idea of where to put the weight. It's not as accurate as dynamic balancing but it works and it saves a ton of cash especially when going to the track.
