Sad to hear so Martin.
Life duties have had me absent from 400gb for a couple of years, but really used to enjoy your posts. I have to admit, this became one of my favourite threads, and I was quite sad when I checked it last summer, and found out it had come to a halt.
Anyway, thanks for the good times, and the laughs.
Cheers,
Emilio

Sad indeed...
Liked his last post about 2015 Rossi affair. A shame not to have him around here as much any longer. Anyway, if he is happier trekking than handling spanners and covered of grease...Priorities change, I guess.

I'm a bit out of the loop but given the love and notoriety for their VF4s why isn't Honda making a mid sized V four for the second decade of the 21st century?

In short £££££££££ and the cost it would be to replicate
I believe we have something that will never be seen again, a small capacity bike built to the quality that our bikes are with so much engineering and over engineering ( V4,gear driven cams, sprang clutches, single sided arms) ,I don't think big firms would spend the money again.
Look at the small capacity bikes on sale at the minute, budget parallel twins.....

Fixed that for you...royster81 wrote: Look at the small capacity bikes on sale at the minute, soul-less parallel twins.....

Real shame this project seems to be lost to our community - it would have been good to see it through the the end.
