right!! iv just pulled my finger out and sorted it. so, i have a NC30 R3L 1990-1991
but with early type forks off a NC30 R3K , i just checked the w.s.m and looked at the diff exploded diagrams of the forks...i deffo have the K model forks on mine so phew! i havnt spent a shed on wrong bits!
the guy at silvers said the fork stanchions for my actually model where discontinued anyways....so im betting the earlier one wont be avalible either.

ok lads, right. somin else has happened now.....
after looking at the exploded pics in the w.s.m closer, im now not sure AGAIN exactaly what my forks are!!!??
going by the pictures alone, i have later type forks but with early type internals!!! wtf.
has anyone got a pic of their fork internals off either an early or later nc30 so i can compare please. and the stanchion and outer slider housing/stanchion housing.
my stanchion has a c-clip grove in its top, and some small holes at the bottom, does the early type stanchion have the same?? coz in the w.s.m it doesnt. thanks guys, im doing my brain over this tbh.
also, the caliper mount arms on the stanchion housing, are they of diff length to one another? and the early forks ones the same length? coz mine are of DIFF length.

man..stop confusing yourself..deep breath, grab your camera and a can of beer...
get us some pics up please.
the early forks are damping rod forks and you can see the damping holes in the bottom of the rod. The later forks are cartridge forks and dont have the damper rod.. PICTURES..
All the stanchions have the circlip groove in the top
