The part you need pressed onto the axle is indeed the inner race for a needle bearing, same dimension as the corresponding machined surface on your std NC30 shaft. No, there's no need for any sleeve to fit the wheel, it sits perfectly on the HRC shaft. If you have the correct (outer) nut/spacer parts, that is.

Thanks for confirming that lasse, i will get that ordered. Is this the only part i need to get the hub fitted?

As for the wheel, mine does sit squarely on the axle but the OD of the axle is smaller than the ID of the wheel hub where as on the NC axle the OD id the same as the wheels ID so it fits snugly.

Ive no doubt that when the pins are in and i have a flat spacer it will hold the wheel straight just wondered if you had considered some kind of sleeve on it so its fits snug.

Not wanting to take over your thread but half the info is already here so seems pointless starting a new one.

What did you use to do this and is there anything i need to do beforehand as theres no way its coming back off once its on there.

On my axle, the press fit was not a super tight one, and it was sufficient to put the axle in the freezer for a few hours, and the bearing race in the oven (approx. 70 degrees C) to get it to slide on with no special tools. I also used some Loctite cylindrical locking agent (make sure to clean the surfaces with a strong cleaner first) to make sure it sits securely in place. The bearing part goes all the way to a fully seated position on the axle, yes.

Thanks for the info lasse. The spacer that you machined for the NC wheel, does it have a lip that sits inside the NC wheel? Looking at the pics of your spacer it doesnt look like its sitting flat on the surface.

Yes, the big, recessed alu washer has a lip designed to keep the NC wheel centered.
