ebay seller was neverland this set looks well finished paint wise outside but inner panels suffer overspray so will need some work plus the usual fitment issues . tbh it was your bikes that helped me decide on the rothmans scheme and when a set came up at that price thought it was worth a go.

I did a bit of a write up of my fitting on page 3 of this thread and all I can say it be prepared to spend a little time fettling for a decent fit. The panels I had were certainly not 'bad' but definitely needed some coaxing with a dremmel, file and some sandpaper. I didn't get too anal about it and am sure I could have got an even better fit if I had spent more time than I did fettling, but as a road legal track toy, the end finish was good enough for me.

The real area that was a problem (and i think where many others have issues) is the fit between the nose cone and the uppers - as below. This was a first fitting before any tweaking...


As you can see by the previous photos, I just ended up drilling a couple of small holes and using a cable tie to secure the two panels together. Admittedly I will be changing the black cable tie for a white one, but even the black one doesn’t look too bad and doesn’t stand out that much.

Well guys, has anyone got a report on longevity of these panels? Mine has a very poor set of chinese plastics on it, paint flaking off everywhere, I have a feeling that these may have been the older, poorer quality type, and I'm planning to replace them with a new set of chinese ones, but I don't want a repeat of whats on it already.

Anyone ever bought any fairings from these? Are they any better quality then all the Korean ones you find over the 'bay?

The Aussie ones above are made in china by the usual manufacturers.

Looking to get a set of fairings next year, in type 2 colours with a change instead of the bright silver i'll get the same grey as my type 4 colours to match the tank.

Have a set of Gold RVF wheels which will be fitted this summer, so its not all black and grey

I had a set, not bad and sold the bike last july (after 4month stripdown) for £2300. It cost me £500 at the start with £600 spent on it so not a bad profit! It has now just sold by a dealer for £3300!

then sooner or later the unsuspecting new owner finds his way here and quickly realises he's had his pants pulled down and his bike is worth no more than £1000 - £1500
