Hello

i'm bringing this topic back up, because it's time for me to change the tires on my NC30.
my bike is only used on trackday, so mileage is not an issue :).

From what I read, I have the choice between BT090 and BT090 ?
somebody told me about the conti road attack 2 ? anyone tested?

thanks

I have Sport Attack I & II on two of my bikes. I think these are a closer comparison to BT090's. I ordered a set of BT090 Pro's [the same size as NC30] just yesterday for my KR1-S. will post findings.
You can't get Conti's in a 150/60x18 either, only a 160. Which is too big.
I'd go with the BT090's for £167 inc delivery

The link to thevisorshop.com is a good one thanks. According to the website you can buy a 90 front and 92 rear and get it sent to New Zealand for $NZ450! Thats cheap, and given that 90 fronts are now unavailable it would be worth a crack.

NOTE: MESSAGE FROM THE VISOR SHOP "I'm afraid we dont ship tyres outside of the UK as the shipping is way too expensive, we did price a set for a regular customer of ours who was working in New Zealand last year and the shipping was as dear as the tyres"

My local dealer is suggesting 003 fr and 090 rear or Dunlop Al 10s or 12s (whatever they are). $NZ500-600 a pair.

I'd like to hear if anyone has tried the Dunlop Sportsmart Alpha 13 & 14 combo on an NC30 in standard sizes.

Out of interest, why the 90 front rather than 92? Are you looking at getting a set in? As I wonder if it'd save shipping to get two lots..

I commute on my NC30 so was considering the longer life 092 rear but a sticky front. I've just got back from a track day and the current 90 F&R are bloody awesome….

I'll have a look at postage for 2 sets and let you know. I'm probably a few months off purchasing.

003's are very good tyres but beware they are ZR rated where as the 090's are H rated so if you fit a 003 to the front it may need to be worked harder to warm up compared to the 090

$782 for two sets delivered. I'd be keen sooner rather than later as my rear tyre has 1.5mm tread..:-p

Did you email them for a quote? I asked them last year and it was 100GBP for shipping two tyres :(
