Well the track day has come and gone and it was very successful - yeah it rained (A LOT :o ) but it gave me the chance to try out some wet tyres I have fitted to spare wheels.

WOW!! Abso-f'ing-loutely brilliant!!

I can't rate these highly enough! We had 3 hours of heavy rain with only a few bikes venturing out onto track between 10am and 1pm. But the confidence these tyres give is immense - its like riding in the dry! :P I have a couple of pics I'll upload later to show the conditions.

I'm so glad I bought these last year - made the day great and not a waste of time.

It was the first time I've ever used wets, and it takes a lap or two to explore what they can do, but it is just so confidence inspiring. I was riding around ZX10's Blades and R1's  - they had road tyres :sshh: on and weren't enjoying themselves half as much as me and some guy on a ZX7R also trying wets for the first time.

They'll be going with me to every trackday infuture, just incase!! 8-)

Anyway - the bike is now minging after the wet weather and needs a good (really good) clean from top to bottom.

The screen from Gavin at Jap4Performance has arrived and looks fantastic - cheers Gav!

I've been quoted £45 for two 'Mister Donut' Graphics for each side which is a bit expensive :o and only one company has bothered to reply :? . So I'll give a couple more places a try then see what happens.

Still waiting for indicators form Hong Kong - but they look like the ones I currently have fitted to complete the look I want.

I have also been busy repairing the top fairing using Plastex - got a few pictures of the process I use to make it work if anyone is interested - I'll do a new thread in the V4 workshop.

And thats about it for now!!

Here is the 'How to' for the panel repairs.

I also have to re-attach some lugs and make some new mounts using the plastex too so I'll update with how that goes.

Well,

After contacting 14 different graphics and vinyl lettering companies and only getting 2 proper replys - I have gone with The Image Works - The guy Graham seemed polite and helpfu; on the phone, quoted a great price of £30 plus p&p so I'm pleased with that.

I know the quality will be great as I have used them in the past for the Eddie Stobart decals, so its just a case of waiting for them to turn up!

I can't wait!

The bike is still in its TD trim, and will be stripped down and cleaned when I get the chance!

Got the Graphics yesterday - they are 'mint'!!

Seriously, the guys at The Image Works (Graham and Ted) have done a fantastic job.

After supplying them with a couple of small pictures they have re-created them perfectly for the NC30.

I'll pop a few pictures up in a day or two.

Now I have to get back to sorting/prepping the fairing!!

I'll be finishing the prep over the next week, then its down to when my mate at Bodyworks can fit it in.

I'm not in too much of a hurry, I'm not planning on riding the bike too much over the winter months, so i may be a little while off before it is actually painted.

I have a plan to give it a good clean again, and polish (the frame and swingarm(again)) before next summer.

I have all the other decals ready to fit aswell but they tend to be generic 'Honda' and sponsor ones. :)

Just spent the evening stipping the Trackday fairing off, a very quick clean and then put the Stobart fairing on.

This weather is too good to miss out riding in.

Going to pop out in the morning and see some other NC's and hopefully RC's
