I have a totally standard inlet, and just said to Rick I wanted some jets to suit that and the exhaust and he sent me 120's

I'll consider his needles, but atm haven't noticed a significant flat spot (stock needles with a .5mm washer) If the FI needles aren't worth bothering with, then they'll stay in the carbs until I need the spare set, at which point they can be replaced with the RO ones :)

It is going to be rich and nasty with the FI gear and 124 DJ jets..
Remember that lean makes the power....

As above, the 124's and FI stuff is in my spare set, and will stay there until they're needed or the bodies are needed, and then they'll be replaced with useful stuff :)

Sweet mate, thanks, when you're over this way let me know and I'll get the kettle on for you if I'm in, I owe you at least that and some beer tokens
Here's the video, the CBR has always smoked like that when it's cold, it clears up after riding gently for a mile, will do it for ages if left to idle though. The VFR had been running for 8-10 minutes, and was creeping up the guage a bit, it spat black once or twice more after this video, but after a thrash up the road behind our house it stopped, can only assume it was a bit of grot in the exhaust, or burning off the WD40 residue in the inlet rubbers from where I put the carbs on

Thanks

It's quite loud, you barely notice the CBR when they're both at idle, and to think, I wanted some stubby cans on it

Right, an update not entirely dominated by the NC30!
I've decided to replace all of the screws with standard Honda ones, so have a set of pro bolts for the seat unit and between the headlights going spare if anyone needs some.
The NC23 has been treated to a set of replica HRC velocity stacks courtesy of GF Racing (yet another great transaction, couldn't have been more helpful

) I'll get a pic as soon as they arrive

Screws from Honda are here

I've started to put the panels back on, and have nearly finished, I just need 2 panel clips (I can't think of the proper name for them, they're like a folded strip of metal with a screw thread on one side, that fit over the tabs on the plastics) and everything will be properly secure :D The new bolts look really pukka IMO I'll get some pics as soon as I'm done
