Hi Mike, thanks for your interest, I think everyone is in general agreement on the pistons and the group buy seems to be at the "now what do we do" stage. It looks like the buy is in the 28 to 32 range at last count. Sarah's e/m is info@omegapistons.com

Is there a final spec on these pistons? I'd like a set for my race bike, I just need to know if they are suitable. +1mm and higher compression would see another 4 sold.

Sorry for my taking my eyes off the ball here - I've got too much on to make this happen.
I am still keen though and as soon as we can get the specs to omega and an agreed price at the numbers we have listed then we need to splash the cash and get it sorted!
So - recap...Mike Norman or Mike Lohemeyer were going to drop a cad file/details of the pistons at 57mm for the +2 piston so we could get Omega to get cracking and confirm what would be weights etc?
Then we say - GO!....and pay up for our pistons and rings etc..bonus.
@ Daz - +1 and +2 would not count together for a discount - seems most people here want +2 as they are for road use

No worries, it'll be next year before I re build the engine anyway. Good luck!

I almost have the drawing done. I've been short on spare time, but will try and finish it this week. Sorry for the delays.CMSMJ1 wrote:Sorry for my taking my eyes off the ball here - I've got too much on to make this happen.

OK guys. Here are the basic dimensions to follow with the pistons. This drawing is specifically for:
57.00mm bore
Standard Compression (pin) Height
2-ring design.

I believe this is what everybody has agreed upon. If I am incorrect about that, please let me know and I will correct it.
I am also sending the drawing to Jim (JGRC30).
Cheers.
