Yeah it's a first gen Silhouette nose. I've filled in the lights and the fake RVFalike air scoops and built the front out to give it more of a curve. Ive also rounded the bottom of the front edge. It's not right but it's as close as I'll be able to get it and closer than I'd be able to manage using a standard shape '30 fairing.

A little bit more done today. The steering damper clamp that NHK supply, put in the nicest possible way, is utter shite. It's cast ally of the poorest possible quality and result of that cost cutting is this.
Shame really as the damper itself is quite nice. However, with a block of ally, a big drill, some files, a bit of emery cloth, a thread tap and a hacksaw you can make this.
It's 25 grams heavier but that's not really surprising considering that, unlike the original, it's not made from cheese.
All mounted up.

I'm curious - what is the pipe sticking out of the back? And what is it mounted to at the back to the subframe?

The tank under the seat is the catch tank for the crankcase breather, the tube hanging out the back is the breather for the tank

Good skills on that front stay mate, do you have access to some fancy tools or are you just using a jigsaw etc. My brackets more resemble a chinese throwing star than anything usefull using a jogsaw
