I've been hanging out with Mike recently and yesterday he told me that there's finally enough people interested to get some made up. Turns out, kawasaki has some 57mm rings available that'll work. It'll still be a few months though.

The Alternator kit I made is different from Rick Oliver's. I haven't seen Rick's. I wouldn't be surprised if it's similar to mine as we all share ideas back and forth here.
My kit does indeed screw into the stock cover. Unfortunately, I just sold my last adaptor. I don't have current plans to make more. So, Rick's kit os probably the best way to go.
