^^^^ good advice from willdrip  i bought my fzr rear panel decals from brooky (vinylmarksigns) and 3 years later, their still stuck like shit to a blanket, with no fade and weren't lacquered over, i expect if you lacquered em, they'll last pretty much as long as the bike,
bit of a bugger to get hold of, but a pm through the site or message through the link below should do the trick

Mang, Just went back to your original post;date was April 1st;certainly no joking matter here !

The first line ; "Sorry guys this is going to be a bit of an essay."
Well that was an understatement.

Then a bike crash.

Have you upset your local occult fraternity ?

Never mind -you have persevered when others would have thrown the towel in long ago.
Surely things must come together on this project now.

Well done that man.

Essay hmmmm! Never meant it to be like this but I am so bloody pedantic I irritate myself. I just like things to be right where bikes are concerned. Anyway you guys can judge if it was worth the shit if I ever finish.

I believe that in a past life I paid no attention to detail and this life is my payback.

The accident was a wake up call to remind me the elasticity in my body is no longer there and I should slow down.

Interestingly I was doing a quick errand on the bike and consider going out in jeans, trainers and a pit jacket. So I reckon the gods were with me when i changed my mind at the last minute and put proper bike gear on. The eventual body to tarmac contact speed was low but no cuts or road rash - lesson is that proper bike gear is expensive for a good reason and back protectors do work (a rib protector is my next purchase)!

I am not chasing the record for views or posts on this forum. I am not bright and I need lots of help! thank you to all that have helped - it does not end here.

I think you've been really unfortunate with this engine though. Most people would have put a 600 in there and not gone this far, although it's an SP so it's a little bit special, or spesh as they say in Stroud
