Got the exhaust on this morning and got to work in time (just about)
Just need to space out the kick stand slightly now

Very nice tim, why dont you make up a chunky bracket to move the side stand down by a inch or so seeing as you have some spare time at work. It will clear the exhaust and also stop the bike leaning over so far.
I want one too wink wink

Thats not a bad idea but it would mess up the lower fairing mount.
I was going to make up a nylon spacer for the end of the foot and tap it on with some countersunk bolts.
I could make one for you if you wanted.
Lol gone from having nothing to do to a weeks worth of fab

SHINEY!
Looking really clean, following with great anticipation.
May I ask, how much did that cost?

A new fairing mount shouldnt be hard to make up from a flat piece of ally, i made one to fit those VFR silhouette fairings on the RVF as they didnt line up.
As for the stand hitting the pipe i usually glue some hard rubber in the pivot part to stop it returning fully

Are you taking advice from Xivlia and not bothering with front brakes, cuz you don't ride fast enough init.

So a bit of a feck up on my other project build (I had put the rear sprocket on the wrong way around making me think I had clearance next to the 160 section tyre. Putting it the correct way around would mean the 525 chain would hit the tyre, so for that bike I need a 520 chain).
So it meant me removing the chain and sprockets from it and putting it on this bike.
All done
Front was able to put on without removing the cover
Rear sprocket on the correct way round and lockwired
