Got any left over?
this was copied from an earlier post in march,
This is Tonight
With thanks to Variable Valves Suck for the Fiber Glass,
as you may remember the carbon was only one layer and quite thin and flexible, and needed reenforcement so i can get a high gloss finish.
anyway 2 a4ish sheets of fiber glass and used the off cuts as ribs across and hey presto its ROCK solid
its now siliconed on, and will get the expanding foan in it tomorrow morning before i start work, so then it will hopefully be dry by tea time so i can W&D and get a layer of laquer on.

More Pillion Carbon Pod work,
its all dryish underneath, foam is a bit sticky, but will dry out over night, the shell its self is pretty tough now, so wet and dried it,
ive also dug out the brackets that hold it in place on the bike which i had powder coated gloss black,
then i used some alcohol to make sure theres now grease on the seat and put the first layer of laquer on, ive not done an amazing job to be honest as its so hard to spray carbon with the interwoven layers, its kinda hard to follow the surface with you eyes, but ill wet and dry this nice and level tomorrow evening,
its on a heat matt so should cure nicely. will update again tomorrow evening.
