Friggen awesome mate

Really appreciate it, definately owe you a beer
I got the tank back on the other night, unfortunately the tap leaks a little, so will be after a repair kit and some Road needles and washers from RO this month (if theres a noticable flat spot that can't be cured with the FI needles in my spare set)
I drained the tank a little on reserve and then set it to off and tilted it so it didn't leak while I was doing the carbs. The carpenters have been in to repair a window, and not only left it flat so all of the petrol drained out, they've twatted it on/with something and taken a chunk of paint off

When I found out it was empty and chipped I was fucking raging. I tried to start the bike on the little bit of petrol in the bottom of my jerry can, but it's not quite enough, I've had a few coughs, but nothing really to shout about

WOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Got some petrol, and after literally 3 or 4 seconds of cranking it started! Had to use the CBR to jump start it, but nothing major :D It's loud, totally drowns the CBR at anything over 2k. I'm uploading an HD video of them running, so will post the link up as soo nas it's done (about 280 minutes to go

)

280 minutes to upload it because it's in HD, it's only about a minute and a half long!

I know, I only realised I'd done it in HD when I looked at the settings on the camera after I'd started uploading

It's down to 160 minutes, which is a bonus

It has a little afterfire every now and again, and a distinct flameless pop of air from both cans if you shut the throttle at 5k or above, I've not yet ridden it, but am guessing it'll have a mid range flat spot, anyone know how to set up the FI needles I have to get rid of it or make it less noticable? There's 6 grooves and an E clip, it's on number 4 going up atm, and was paired with 124 dyno jets (got 120's in my set)

From what ive heard of FI needles the best place for them is the bin. Rick O needles and 122's would be closer i think

DM
It is going to be rich and nasty with the FI gear and 124 DJ jets..
Remember that lean makes the power....

FYI -
I'm running 120 Dynojets on Rick's needles with a full system and foam filter. Perfect A/F ratio on the dyno.
