Oh yes..
The little beast fired up today and whoop whoop/ Firing on 4 and sounding pretty good. no clacking,. no clunking.. none of the nasty noises I was worried about. The quietening gears removed from the from camshaft were noticable in their absence and it does soound cool.
So, I am clever - rebuilt front head, ported and lapped and setup.. Smug with my skills..lol
The reason it was ont playing out was the rear 2 plugs had tips made of coal due to fouling.. Swapped in some spare ER9EH and all was peachy on the first press.
Hiperform exhaust and ART can sounds wicked - Thanks Rod @ Hiperfor. Your pipes are excellent!
Thanks my greybike buddies for the support and the nudges to get it sorted.
I am looking forwards to some money so I can get this bad lad setup with chain and sprocket and I can get the rest of the gear on it, get an MOT, get some races entered and try my own handywork! Woohoo :D
Rock on guys....instead of 3 more pages of "it does ont start"...we can have some fork rebuilding, some shock replacement with my new RS250 unit and a bit of brake fettling too.
Might even throw my G-force generator setup into it...now I know the motor works then when i drop the oil i might as well bolt in the new flywheel and impress myself..
Oh yeah
**Stella and wine FTW!!! **

Cheers Gents,
@ Cammo - it took some doing to get me the bits too. (many thanks to Jeff/RVFhooligan for his assistance)
I cannot see me utilising the benefits on No9 so sticking it on the race bike is a good call... In fact..I paid a lot of cash for this kit and the stuff to go with it and it is about time I get it sorted!! garage plan no1 for the weekend methinks...
@ Simmo - hmm - maybe mate. Am enjoying the BMC bike and want to learn to go fast on that bad boy so I will not be likely to race my NC at EMRA. However...any other series I enter (prob DP for Cadwell and Donny) I am looking to use this bad lad.
I have no major ideas...as yet...that this will be a rapid beast, but as long as it works and is safe then I am chuffed with it.
I made the smallest vid on my phone what I will upload. It starts easier than my sodding road bike..lol
