Magnesium swing arm? That's trick!
I finally got around to fixing mine. Wired in a MOSFET voltage RR from a 2008 CBR600RR. It seems to run ok again.

I picked up my new NC30 last night, and spent this arvo taking the fairings off and trying to get through 22 years of rust to take the headlights off. The plan was just to rebuild the calipers, check the carbies and valve clearances but... the more I take off, the more I think I want to clean the whole lot up! I can see this turning into a ground-up rebuild pretty soon.

I also had delivery of my latest nc to the clan last night

, direct from M.
here is a few pics.
as said in previous post type 3 l 11k's.
typical things- left fork seal,
- Rear rotor has cracks,
- orig (oem)-fairings-scuffed here and there,
- typical surface rust in parts,
- small dent in tank,
-etc etc ( blah blah),
Does have tool kit, rode a few k's home from del at mates place -engine sounds and responds well, very smooth very tight 100% untouched all over (as in very dusty) as you can sometimes get with club reg bikes. - will rebuild over the coming 2- 3 decades.
overall im happy with coin paid..
I will keep you all posted and I know ill have ??????????????????

Walked past mine in the garage, gave it a pat and said "good morning" as it's under cover during the cold.

Bored out the TYGA screen bolts to accept some nicer anodised Alu ones, changed the under tray bolts to zinc coated ones, reinforced carbon front fender and lock wired the bolts as some scumbag has tried to half inch it. Tidied the wiring loom up, cried over a rear puncture as it's such a nice day. Wrapped her up and put back on the optimate
