So i see you got your bike in Practical Sportsbike, following in Alex's foot steps there then - so what is this? We all sending in pics???

I didn't know the guys were putting it in - I just emailed them with a couple of pictures of it and said what work I'd done etc... and if they wanted to do a feature with 400GB and some modified NC's I'd like to be considered!!

Well, I'm having second thoughts on the Horipro rep now - thinking of doing another scheme. Mainly as my wife says she doesn't like it and it looks 'old'

So looking for suggestions for something different, fresh and original!

Oh and another little update, got some new tyres fitted after trashing the old set on a trackday on camp!

I did nearly 3 sessions (60 minutes) back to back with no breaks inbetween so the right side of the supercrsas ended up like slicks! but gave great grip all the way through their life!

I managed to pick up some more supercorsas off ebay so got them fitted now.

I've also binned the idea of ram air and have fitted a Tyga Carbon airbox lid. I've not ridden it like this yet, but when the weather is better will be out testing it.

Last few things to do for the moment are to

Get some dB killers
sort the dash/clocks/tacho/speedo
Sort and fit the RVF carbs

Quick Update - Got some dB killers on Order - having to be made especially for the Mercury Twin Stack System.

I'm not sure what dB the bike currently is, but I'm sure its not trackday friendly!

I've thought of doing an OE scheme - the one which is the main pic on the haynes manual, or the Hislop rep but without all the sponsors - I have a spare set of wheels too which I'd get powder coated white.

What you all think?

HOw about a Honda Britain scheme? Or even painted in the OMCC RAF blue? It would be race bike pukka..but new.

Not had much time to do stuff on the bike for the past month - babies hey

But what I have done is measured the noise level with Odiham Motorcycle clubs Noise meter - 104.9dB

Not too loud - but noisey enough and pushing it a bit on trackdays with noise limits.

So I set to, trying to fit the baffles - which were slightly too large ( an error on my part with the measuring )

A bit of precision engineering and I'll get them to fit

I've come up with a paint scheme (keeping it under wraps for the moment) but I'm happy with it.

I've also given the bike a good clean in preparation for some upcoming photos that will be taken

Well the bike has been photo'd and is now in PS magazine, I haven't read the article yet, and not sure if it gives away my new paint scheme plans?

But in the next week I'l be prepping the old panels for paint, and measuring up for decals.

My Grandad has a vinyl plotter and cutter so I'll get him to do them - just a quick bit of pricing up on the net and I was up to £80 with out the main Graphic

It hopefully won't be too long before I have the new scheme ready to be unveiled!

As for the dB killers, they will now fit in the end cans but I don't think I can bring myself to drill the stainless end caps - they just look too good!

I've been riding the bike a bit and found I need to set up the carbs or sort out the RVF ones and get them on it. The bike seems to cut out/ not idle properly whilst I'm riding it. From cold /on the choke its fine, then once I set off and come to a halt, at say a junction, it cuts out and I have to resart it off the button. Its rideable but annoying, as everyone thinks I'm a knob as I keep revving it to stop it dieing.

Any Ideas? I've tried the idle adjuster and doen't seem to make any difference
