So some more stuff done, firstly the selector drum is in but then the laptop died so we couldn't refer to the pics we took so more on that another day.

Also this arrived in the post today which is mighty fine and also mighty light.

As you can see it's the same size as my CDI and utilising an old ally tyga battery box I have is quite a nice solution as to where I can keep both of them which works really well meaning I only have to find somewhere for the starter solenoid and reg rect at that end of the bike.

Now don't laugh but I started work on the subframe, loads of measure twice cut once and this is what I ended up with...

Which supports the seat unit really well..

But....when I started to do the diagonal upright supports I ran into an issue


There is a lump of frame in the way meaning I can't get the desired angle, now I was going to start sawing and cutting but thought I would call it a day.
So it it possible to take a wooden frame to a fabricator and get them to copy it?
