Hi there Ronni!

You may well be correct about the stiffness issue. I would suspect if there's a negative effect from this, it would be very minor. Might as well be an even better stiffness than before, what do I know? On the other hand, the modiffied SP2 swingarm is way lighter than the standard NC one, which is good, no doubt.

Plus, as everyone knows; if it looks fast, it sure as hell is, indeed, fast ;)

Hi Michael!

No real news, I'm fabricating the linkage mounting lugs for the sp2 swingarm now, and there's some welding still to be made on it as well.

Great stuff with your FI project! Is it running yet?

Cheers/

Finished welding the linkage mounts yesterday, and the swing arm is now on the bike! Still some milling to be made on the linkage itself to get correct axial clearance, as the whole shock/linkage assembly needs to be moved a bit to the right in order for the shock spring to clear the swing arm. no big deal, just another small issue. Rear wheel alignment is roughly made so far, and next I'll have a pair of lasers attached to be spot-on centered.

A front y-spoke PVM mag wheel is also headed my way to accompany the rear wheel.
