got to say two maggots even with baffles in will be way toooooo loud.
Going to have some baffles made up for the TYGA cans aswell so that we can make them more road legal

nice system, nice sound, i was expecting that can to be too loud but its just right.
I'll try get a vid of my tyga with beowulf can, that sounds totally different to yours.

G Man - heres a vid with the NC35 Tacho pluged in and the can sealed 100%
Still seems to struggl a little through the midrange but i'll iron that out once its MOT'd

Oh and the kevlar can sounds rude without the plug, the noise testers at brands politely told me to sod off an find a baffle, that was on a 105db day.

, mmm sounds like you have a bit of work to do on the carbs with all the porting etc Once its sorted its going to sound sweet and am sure that we all are keeping an eye
What have you done so far to it and hoping to get in the end ?

TBH im not too worried about the carbs just yet, the bike was like this before my last trackday on it but performed perfect once i got on track, its had very little use so im putting it down to it just needing a clearout. I know the carbs could do with a clean out and fettled but that will come in the winter, at the moment i just wanna get it ready for a mot.
As for whats been done to the engine, it was ported and flowed by the previous owner, it ran with no snorkle or rubber flap but ive since added a carb tray, 1mm needle washers and hrc springs. The jets are bigger but i cant remember what size. Filter is just single density foam.
It was dyno'd @ 61bhp before i got it but that was with the underseat exhaust which was just a cut up standard system so hopefully more with the yammoto + MIG setup once the fuelings sorted

As this is the exhaust thread I'll post this up in here as well!
Ok, so it took me all off a month to realise I need at least an end can on my nc30, sounds like a fart in a thunderstorm!
I'm gradually adding carbon accents to my bike, and quite like the look of the new scorpion carbon db killer cans.
Couple of questions tho, do carbon cans sound any different than say a stainless can? What about round or oval, is that just a cosmetic difference and if so which can suits the Vfr best??
Of course if someone happens to have a second hand can lying around, got cash waiting and I'm all for recycling!!!
Thoughts, opinions please! Ta muchly!

Best sounding end cans for the NC in my experience are scorpion, beowulf and carbon can co.
I always go for oval and stainless, but if the bike has a dark paint scheme i'd prefer carbon/cabon kevlar.
Beowulf gave the best power run results for my bike fyi.
