Oh man..that sucks..

Really feel for you man.. I would be wounded if I dropped my bike and that is a pile of gash compared to the clean and expensive Smev mobile..

Hope your wounds get better soon - palm scrapes are mingers fo shizzle :o

Smev, that's heart wrenching. Been reading your thread the whole way; I can't believe the brake locked up. Sounds like the sorta thing that'd happen to me!

Well thinking back on it now I don't think the throttle got stuck at all - the bike seems a lot more rev happy now that the carbs have been balanced, modded and the HRC style CDI fitted.

I think the front wheel locked up for a number of contributing and conspiring reasons - I haven't ridden the bike since the beggining of this thread (novemberish time) and since then I have fitted the trak-tech levers which don't require much effort to get them to work. the bike has also been stood for months and the discs had rusted up slightly. a combination of this all added up to me not knowing how much force to apply to the brakes and them biting really easily. I'll have to watch this next time I go out on it!

As for a silver lining - umm..... not sure yet!

I am going to need a whole load of bits, so starting from the front -

Clutch lever - Trak tech again
Clutch cable and bracket
Switch gear (lights, horn, indi's)
Harris Clip-on tube
Switch/button for the Translogic dash - controls all the features on it.
Tank - repair and respray
fairing lowers - repair right hand side think i need a new left. and respray
More graphics
Generator casing - potential mod!!
Rear sets
Exhaust inlet spout and carbon fibre slieve
R&G non drill crash bungs - gonna have to do it.
1 x pair of new palms
1 x left knee skin
1 x right fore arm skin

Ok here are a few pics
