I'll take on sorting this from this neck of the woods then!!
Well thats about 5 of us from down in the south east corner area heading up - Me, MattUKSP1,w00dzy, VFR teddy and Drunkn Munky.
Our rough route is using the M25 then M40, M42, M5, M6, M54
No timings as yet - keep an eye on here for them though!!!

I do know a few roads up that way - the A 442 from Kiddeminster to Bridgnorth is fun!
But to go on the twisties all the way would probably take all week!!!

you couldnt cruise on a b road with that gearing

I'm sure we will find some fun roads up there.. just have to stay in your slip stream on the motorway while Matt laughs

So, anyone not from Shandyland coming?
Where do you want to hook up fellow northern monkeys??
I am planning to go via the A roads with turns in them - it is 90 miles from my house
EDIT <map link is crap> Basically -
Baslow>Ashbourne via A515
then Uttoxeter to Stafford
Stafford down to Cosford
So, anyone want to meet up either on this route, or before it?
It is cool, some nice swoops, some flat out hoonage, hills, bridges, cow shit...the lot!
Takes under 2 hrs in a car...so we can nail it on full tanks in an hour and a bit.
