Hi.
I have just read your build thread and all I can say is amazing.
Did you end up using the GForce pistons and rods if so how was the differance.
I’m about to start a build in Australia of my 91 NC30 and love the thought of the GForce Titanium rods and pistons but very pricey.
Love the Honda Britain scene.

Hi Craig and thanks. Sadly due to the f**kwit couriers at "My Hermes" managing to crack the crankcase I was sending to get bored to fit the Omega +1mm pistons they didn't get used. I could have stripped down the 'spare' engine I ended up using and sending that for boring but by that point I didn't want to risk another "good" engine just for the sake of it.

As such I sold the unused Omega's on to another Forum member and keep looking for news of their use.......Nudge nudge Dan

Hello Craig, look forward to seeing details of your own build.

The fork lowers were powder coated silver whilst I had everything striped down. As for the callipers ....I picked these up years ago already refurbished from someone who abandoned their own project. I am not sure what they used on them, but if I had to guess I would say they are just well painted and baked.

Do you think the RVF or CBR600RR fork mod is worth the trouble for a street bike or just update the springs?

I currently have x3 NC30s (and have had a few more as well), I do a few track days and most riding on the road. For my 2p worth, the most noticable and significant handling improvment you can do on these bikes is to just refresh the OEM forks internals and upgrade the springs with a set from Rick Oliver. Unless you are hard core racing stick to OEM which is also the cheapest and easiest option......then spend the money you saved on something else

Was leaning more toward this after reading heaps on the forum.
I think the cbr forks look trick but by the time I completed the build I could buy nice Triumph 675R.
This is a project that could easily get over the top and it only meant to be a fun thing to do.
