Its coming up ok, wish I waited and paid a bit more for a system in better condition tbh. The only positive thing is that the can that came with it is a Blue Flame and looks to be in good nick.
In the last two pics you can see the weld in stainless being left behind while the collars rust away.
Have messaged rcv4 to see if he'll fix them for me.

Well I gave in and bought a set of RVF wheels (many thanks to DM who got them powder coated for me) in a brilliant match to HRC gold. Very happy with them, new bearings (cheers again to DM) and I've now run a tap through the threads (the sand blast was giving the disc bolts a hard time). Couldnt resist a trial fit, but they wont be seeing tyres until the bikes ready to run.
Do love gold wheels on my race reps
Got one half of the 'HRC' oil cooler kit (nc23)
And made a jig to mill, drill and tap the other half. The fittings are yet to be made

You did spring to mind,
but it doesn't make sense to buy track tyres now when the bike won't be finished till early next year (hopefully!)
That and I really shouldn't have bought the wheels in the first place with Christmas looming!

Cheers alex, so am I.
Got the exhaust back from rcv4, chad has replaced the rusty collars with new stainless ones, cheers buddy.
Here's the result
Just need to weld on the spring hooks to the front down pipes and paint the clamps in HT paint.
New studs and gaskets are ordered and should be with me soon.

He's done a good job there, needs a nice old skool jap 3 bolt can to finish that off.
Couple of pics of the wheel in day light, thats the closest powdercoat to HRC gold ive seen.
