my indicators sometimes work and sometimes wont...when i first start the bike up it wont work properly. i hav to keeep pressing the indicator switch to get it working..and if that doesnt work i just go crazy and go left right left rght left right with the switch till it works...and i findt it annoying...ive looked inside the switch an everything seems to look perfect...is there another place i could look at for an open circuit? maybe the dash indicator bulb? if there is a loose connection in there would that make a problem? ive checked my indicator bulbs and they are fine...and one more thing its usually the left one that wont work..the right ones work more often...

The indicator switch is the usual culprit. Just looking at it won't fix it.

Take it apart and use plenty of contact cleaner and a rag to clean the grease and muck off. This will usually get it working properly for a while.

The best option is to replace it with more modern switch gear, but you'll need to wire it up, nothing out there will plug straight in.

hmm okay. i could replace the swtich gear...can you recommend me a good switch gear for the nc30?

as the title says...any good guides on disassembling the forks? i have a K reg bike and hayned cant explain very well....i cant get the damper bolt at the bottom to loosen...

Stick the fork top nuts back on and try to loosen it. Have you drained them of oil yet?

nope not drained the oils. i thought the top fork nut needs to come off before the oil drain? it sas to loosen the top fork nuts and then take the damper bolt at the botom off :\ but it wont move

Damper bolts can be stiff and might need compression on the forks or an air-gun / impact driver.

Don't chew it up else you'll have to drill it out.

Drain the oil and put the top nuts back on to help you loosen the damper bolt. Is it just rotating freely without coming loose?
