Thank f*** for that ! You can increase your idle by twiddling the idle adjuster screw on the left of the bike that's just back a bit from the choke lever. It shuld idle at about 1300rpm. Have you checked the reg/rec yet or are you just assuming that everything is ok? If you are just go and get a multimeter and check it. It's cheaper than another new battery should the reg/rec be faulty and if nothing else it'll be peace of mind if it is ok.

yes, i know that, but wont it effect my Bike and how it runs ? and cause troubles after the man ahs set up the carbs etc ? thats the only reason i havent dared touch it, it idles beautifully, but form a cold start does cut out on idle after a few seconds, unless i rev it,

any advice on how i can prevent my Spark plugs from getting OILED up ? like anyway wya of riding or starting up the bike etc,?

I'm running a 1989 NC30 with full tyga system, carbs are completely stock jets, snorkle, flappy bit the lot, runs great

Sounds like you crossed paths with a right a hole but please check your reg rec or you'll be robbing yourself

as explained to you in one of the last 10 pages

from cold you should be starting it with choke out and NO REVS...leave it running for a few mins and push choke back in.. only adjust the idle adjuster once the bike is nive and warm and been ridden a while to get it up to normal temp...

but my bike starts fine withought the Choke right now, is this okay to continue doing ?

or should i always Choke her,.?

Im sorry if im giving us 20 year olds a bad name, but id rather do that then do any damage or anything wrong to my baby,,

she's running really good at minute, although me, and my dad changed the spark plugs/serviced her roughly around September'10, so im not getting my hopes up, im sure there will be a reason my spark plugs were flooded and was back firing,

fuckin ell, you said 2 post up that your bike is cutting out when starting from cold unless you rev it!!!! NOW you saying it starts fine from cold????
if it aint starting from cold without revving it then use the choke!! if you twisting the throttle when starting it and it dont fire up you are in danger of flooding the bike and soaking the sparkplugs with fuel!

you have been told the same thing several times and your just either ignoring or have a hollow pipe between your ears that the information is going in one and out the other

full choke lever, hit the start button, it may take several starts to take hold and keep running THEN & ONLY THEN apply throttle WHEN THE ENGINE IS RUNNING.
