I took 8zf, 8zg and nc24 ones with me and after the first run with the 8zf fitted he measured each one and decided on the nc24 ones. With yours running a full system it might suite a richer needle anyway?
For some reason mind has always run lower than the norm jetting wise for every setup ive had.

One thing that did surprise me was how light the exhaust was, time will tell if its any good or not once ive gone back to the dyno. Also when looking at the wiring ive noticed that the cdi has been taken apart and a new end cap fitted hence me thinking its been re-mapped? has anyone else seen this done before?

Thanks
Do you mean the white tape? My NC30 ignition box has the same tape on it but it's completely standard as far as i'm aware.

NC24 uses 8zc needles as standard there quite similar to one of the HRC needles.. can't remember which from the top of my head

Yeah realised this now, ive owned many vfr's and rvf's and never took much notice to the cdi's and when i looked at mine i thought it looked aftermarket at first glance

Thats really good to know, thankyou
It was really crap with the other needles and would only pull cleanly with these fitted

Been busy today, first off i decided to cut down my front mudguard as im sick off the tyre warmers jamming when im trying to get them off so looked in the hrc manual and trimmed to suite. I dont really like the look of it cut down but if it aids tyre warmer removal i will be happy.

Next up i then started stripping my spare motor ready to be checked and rebuilt with a concoction of vfr/rvf parts

Not sure mate, its been that long since i had a rvf im unsure of what the differences are between the vfr and rvf gearboxes? Think ive read that people prefer the vfr one for track use?
