Yeah, it's an R6 pump. The water pump cover will be held in place by means of a circlip, once I've cut the groove for it in the casing.

Not for the purist or faint hearted among you guys, but anyways..! I never really liked the single swing arm on our little bikes - it's a bit too tiny, heavy and outdated for my liking. On the other hand, there are no real easy solution to this, as in a replacement swing arm that'll fit right in.

My bike now features what in my opinion is the most beautiful swinger ever to be put on a Honda - the HRC-developed SP2 one. It's been heavily modified to accept the magnesium 5.5" PVM 250cc GP rear wheel. A section has been cut away from the middle, and new linkage lugs have been welded to duplicate the std NC35 ratio.

This mod necessitates a remodeling of the rear cylinder exhaust header pipes, as the much beefier swingarm gets in the way.

I have not yet decided on my rear shock. Right now I have the option of using a revalved Ohlins CBR1000RR 46pcrlx old style shock, or a R1 Ohlins TTX one. The TTX shoch will make the exhaust pipe work a bit more difficult, but we'll see.

A matching PVM front wheel is on its way, and I expect massive weight savings from those, as the rear is a feathery 3.3kg.

Enjoy!

That is looking pretty dam hot.
Not sure if would be possible to use but have you seen the 'flexy' exhaust pipes?! I've seen them used on customs to work around the tight spots. :?

Nice job, keep it coming.

I think nothing less than custom TI pipework welded by mystical lepricorns will do for this bike.

What style of exhaust are you going for lasse?
