Tyga have some Taiwanese made brake discs - anyone got any feedback regarding those?

I spoke to them about'em and they've had no negative feedback form road or race.

china are quantity, not quality.
Japan/Taiwan are quality not quantity.
we were discussing this a few weeks ago at work, China are flooding the markets with cheap nasty shit. at the moment you cant return goods for a refund due to communism (cant remember what exactly). one day they will realise and tighten up on quality.

Im glad this post has brought out some discussion. Can I say that I dont like wasting money but on this instance I bought an old Amiga a4000 computer for a tenner and sold it on ebay for £130, so really I only wasted around a tenner of my money finding out about these poor quality parts, the Amiga sale paid for those parts as it was just lying in my paypal account, mind you I could have used it now as my exhaust has just got a hole in it, Sods law.

I agree with LP, just bite the bullet and go for original if possible and Parus I know they look ok in the photo but you could end up with a bigger bill than you expected unless the parts company is well known I would not risk it. I do know there are decent parts coming out of China, I do believe they build Honda 125s there and several other makes, such as Peugeot scooters so they cant be doing everything bad but in those instances I think it boils down to brand names quality control, something these NC29 parts I bought appear to lack. For instance I cant get my head around why they would go to the bother of producing something like a hacksaw blade that wont cut and bends within seconds of using it, just seems a waste of time and material.

thanks

Dave

in reference to the front discs of ebay i got some wavies on the cheap from china n as you guessed they warped at the first pill of the lever, leaving me out of pocket n looking for some secondhand originals, just so the bike was ride-able, as i didnt have the cash to buy new oem /oe ones,

lesson learnt , BUY CHEAP BUY TWICE!!!

ive had the mirrors, only last weekend was almost home and 'whoosh' there goes my mirror as i was riding along, just fell off. the bolt had gone inside it so although it wasnt damaged cant fix it.

also got a screen brace as advertised on ebay, RUBBISH 1 week had rust, welds are atrocious and the frame fittings are literally a couple of washers (probably BZP) and are too far apart, i have to use 2 nuts to space out.

First great topic! Glad to read other comments about this rubbish on the market. It looks so damn easy an cheap to order but it is always a disappointment.

I had one mistake with buying mirrors, and exactly as other people......there are crap.
