Im just looking at headlight options, I was thinking maybe a single projector headlight or something like this:

adapted to fit the central air intake.

did you have any problems with the clocks clearing the fairing? or handlebar movement?

loz i managed to fit without changing the clock bracket and the bars are close but only on full lock but they are close with standard fairings on full lock, my other bike has k-conversions fairings but the cbr fairings are a lot easier to fit, i'll take some pics of the brackets i made (only 3) the light looks good will have a look around and see what is the best fit

That looks cool Parus,
but what I really want is a light arrangment which I can remove quickly for track use and just bolt back in for road use.
Im thinking if I asked my friend to take a mold from the air intake on the cbr and made a housing in that shape for the projector lamps then I could attach it with a couple of bolts and bobs your uncle.

Il see f I can get a CAD drawing made up to give you an idea of what im after.

Looking at that rear end again, it looks very thin where the battery box would go? Is there room under the end to fit the cdi etc?

No sure about R1 fairing, but as for K-Conversion you need to fit all - CDI and etc - inside of the subframe.

chris the original battery box is staying on mine and there is plenty room for the rest

Doug at TRS will do me the rear for £55, so im very tempted to ask you to make me one of your sub frames lol. Have you got a pic of the bike from the side with the seat cowl slipped over the sub frame? Just if i was to do it, id want everything hidden. I cant stand it when you can see bits of the subframe and stuff that shouldnt be on show lol.
