DAS is not all bad....some people who do them buy a big engined bike, scare themselves s'#@less and then sell em cheap with low miles! bonus!

I had to restrict my NC23 but im off restrictors now, will have a look for dimensions of the washers....sure i have them noted down somewhere.

Can you not take your test on your de-restricted 400 if you are comfortable riding that ? You have to excuse me but I don't do kW power outputs from bikes old fashioned horses for me!

I failed my test first time cause I was on a loan 4 stroke CB125 or something similar, went back with a freshly muffled LC125 and passed I'm not saying I wouldn't of done it 2nd time on the honda but I was much more comfortable on the bike I was actually using daily.

Hi iam in the same boat,can anyone let me know where or who i can get a restrictor for my 91 nc30.And where would i go to get a dyno done in the south london area.

Also is there any sites to look up original vfr's

Any help would be great Thanks

i think if i recall, 3 problems with this,
a) 33bhp restricted is too low for big bike test
b) unrestricted is also too low kW (pretty sure)
c) unless from cbt to big bike test is sat within 30 days your insurance will not cover you to use personally owned bike, at least this is what my insurance co said to me. (thus making you turning upto test on uninsured bike illegal)
