That bike needs some love, dirty as anything. I would take the calipers apart and rebuild them too if their anything like the rest of the bike. Otherwise i think its a good deal, go for it.

wouldn't bother with it if the seller couldn't spend the time cleaning it before selling and you say your yamaha is good probably better selling yam and searching around for a nicer example the chain looks rusty mid joints on zost likewise hard to tell from pics if rebound screws on forks chewed you would need to factor in a bit of cash to get it sorted out agree with spike about the anodised stuff yuk !

Rick Oliver sell them matey..just a bit of bling..
I reckon it is nowhere near worth a £1300 'ace.
If the guy cleaned it, put rim tape on both sides of the rear wheel and then gave you £250 plus (new?) tyres then maybe you are good to go. Factor in a chain as that looks rank, lots of time faffing with it and if the exhaust mid joints are gone some ballache getting it sorted...
Sell the thunderace and have the cash - for a grand you could get a nice enough bike to spend some spare cash on.

Right then some of you will probably remember this post from a while back...i have since sold the Ace on ebay and was looking for an NC30...but nothing turned up

I then bought a firestorm as a stopgap and two days after buying it member "Fumb" put a rather nice looking 30 up for sale...i could have cried

why does that always happen!!
Anyhow last sunday i'm looking on ebay and see a familiar looking NC30..."fumb's" old bike and the owner is now after a big v-twin.Contacted him straight away and we arrange a swap

...only problem is he is in London and i'm on Anglesey....luckily my brother in law who does bike collections/deliveries was doing a london run tommorow(fri) so he has loaded up the firestorm and is bringing home the NC30 tommorow...i really can't wait
Will post some pics up when i have the bike and tell you what i think of it.
