you cannot get the 016 mate, only the 014 and this is not a H rated tyre so ont really ideal for a 400.,

BT92 is dual compound on the rear..I read the Bridgestone webbie today..lol

sounds like the bt92's are a good choice.. getting my front fitted on sunday on the way back from picking up my new bike!!!! :D

she passed her mot with flying colours on monday! apart from a warning on the front tyre..

Another fan of the 090 here. Used them for road and track. Can't deny they are not designed for longevity, but the do stick like s**t to a blanket!

I was also under the impression that the BT92 was the a harder compound in the middle to cope beter with the majority 'upright' riding we all do, but with 090 compond shoulders for those times you get it cranked over.

Ive ran dunlop (dunflop more like LOL) gpr-70's....in the bone dry they were AMAZING...BUT as soon as the road got a little wet they went all over the place....scary as fook....caused me to have a little off as well about a year ago

then i switched to bridgestone BT92's.....in the wet they are brilliant....in the dry they are adequate....they're not amazing though BUT i got (and im not kidding) 8000 MILES out of the rear tyre....then i got it replaced and got puncture in the fast lane of the M1 LOL....

by this time the 92 on the front was shagged so now i run BT090's......they're MUCH better than the 92's the level of grip is simply AWESOME i can crank it over all day long....ive had the pegs down on the cat and fiddle and on a few roundabouts as well

im only on about 3000 miles on the rear though and its reached the marker....ive got about 2mm of tread at best left.....

i might stick a 92 on the back and keep a 090 on the front but....to be fair the 090's are just better....they're even good in the wet...

they dont square off that fast....i did 400 miles in a weekend and they were ok...

I must admit when it came to being changed it was a wee bit bald....and had a nail in it they just last forever....they are dual compound but its like they're made of hard plastic LOL


for some reason it was owned on the right hand side....probably all the roundabouts i was going around trying to knee down....once i got 090's though i can just drap my knees left and right all teh time though!!!

but i find i get on much better with 090's.....i can just push the bike more...and knee down! :D

I have Dunlop GPR ~ alpha 10's. They are awesome.

They were designed for 250 and 400cc bikes, they get up to temp quickly, and are very smooth.

They are basically to give people another option to the bridgestones, but 090 and alpha 10's are your best bets.
