Right then, managed to get out of Ikea without bankrupting myself, just got to put all the crap together now. On a slightly more relevant note, had a chance to have a quick look at the engine and I'm going to go for it. Just glad that everyone was skint before christmas and the rvf switch gear didn't sell, am I right in thinking the nc30 and 35 right hand switch gear are the same? I know the left hand side differs.

Th r/h killswitch wiring is different.

If you use an rvf loom then it's easiest to also use the rvf r/h switch gear.

Nice one, I'll make sure that doesn't get sold either. Still means I'll have the nc30 equivilent parts to sell on.

hi Paul,
the gearbox output shaft on the 35 has a 5mm wider spacer. Add an extra 5mm spacer under the rear sprocket hub to get proper chain alignment. I also had to realign the chain slider, but you´ll get some extra tyre- chain clearance.

Thankyou for everyones advice and help, in the end I fitted the rvf carbs to my nc30 - and it runs beautifully. The main reason for this is that my mate who has already wired my bike twice (once with the aprilia dash, once with the cbr600rr dash) threatened to hurt me with a large stick if I changed the loom again. Therefore I will be keeping the modified loom, sorry to get your hopes up J.
