Iv just looked on the parts list i have (not complete!!) and it shows a stepped axle which holds both the rear disc on and the rear sprocket(the nut sits on the sprocket side) once the nut is off does the spindle need to be hammer out?

Hi there,
Thats the same picture im working off, iv got the sprocket side off but cant get the shaft out now, any idea what item 7 in the drawing is? That seams to be holding the shaft in and i cant figure out just how to get it off??

Got it sort, item 24 is a snap ring, pop that off and the whole bearing section just slides off!

There was that much rubbish all over it I couldnt see the snap ring!

Thanks for all the help, im sure there will be stupid questions to come!
