Re: RVF400/NC35 Water Pump O-Ring Question
Good to know. If I were in the EU it would have been easier.RickOliver wrote:FWIW - the NC30 water pump casing uses a shaped seal 19226-KE7-000, the NC35 uses a conventional O-ring 91310-KT8-003 to do the same job - both are still currently available from Honda UK/Europe

Unless your local Honda dealership is being deliberately obstructive they should be able to obtain any OE part if you just give them the part number to order it by - might take a couple of weeks to come from Japan but there`s no reason they can`t do it.

Re: RVF400/NC35 Water Pump O-Ring Question
Only select HRC dealers can get Honda parts not stocked by American Honda in the US. That shop could have ordered it, but the lead time was too long. That's what makes owning a grey bike in the US such a pain. Often I can order it from a mail-order in GB or Japan quicker and cheaper than it takes the HRC supplier to get it.RickOliver wrote:Unless your local Honda dealership is being deliberately obstructive they should be able to obtain any OE part if you just give them the part number to order it by - might take a couple of weeks to come from Japan but there`s no reason they can`t do it.

Re: RVF400/NC35 Water Pump O-Ring Question
How about David Silver Spares USA? The UK-based HQ has ordered Honda parts for me from Japan or Europe no problem.
