I'd love to keep her as shes a good one but I'm off abroad with work for three years and have nowhere to keep it. Also don't want it sat for that length of time either.

I always planned to get her painted at some point later down the line and just keep using as is just now. I actually like the way it looks as passers by always mention how 'you don't see many nowadays', accompanied by a look of disgust at the aesthetics then swiftly followed by a comment along the lines of 'she's actually quite clean underneath' lol

That's a very clean bike indeed Under the skin .hard to tell condition of plastics from pictures surely not that bad most prospective buyers would accept the odd small mark or stress crack or fading as part of the patina of a 20yr old bike tbh.
Would definitely get the right lower painted to match the others that really let's it down image works should be able to supply decals required wouldn't imagine you should have much difficulty selling that's a good bike.

Thanks for replying. She is great under the skin, as you say. To be fair, all the panels could do with going over as they dont do the bike justice. Just wish there were more parts available for these nowadays.

I suppose your right, I could look at getting the right to match, at least then it would be more presentable.

Are the image works decals decent enough?

Found them good were recommended on here by others best phoning rather than email though .

How did you get on with Image Works? I'm driving down (from Wilmslow, Cheshire) to their place tomorrow, with 3 repaired & painted panels (both lower sides and left mid section) from my NC35, so they can fit the decals. Been quoted between £75 - £100. Obviously cheaper to buy and fit myself but if I cock it up..
I'll let you know how they look. I got the Tyga kit, so these will be wrapped and stored along with the undamaged original panels.
By the way, have you got a price in mind for your NC30, without the cosmetic work?

Image Works did a great job. The place is run by 2 chaps and has been going for 20 years, so they know their stuff. They had my panels for about 3 hours, so take a book if you're going to hang around. They printed off the necessary stickers and fitted them perfectly. Everything lines up with the original undamaged panels and you'd be very hard-pressed to spot the difference. If you catch the panels in a certain light you can see a slight variation in the light blue colour, compared to the Honda colour (I think it's called Endurance Violet?). If you had the whole bike done it would look just about perfect.
They charged me £100, which I'm happy with because no-way could I have got it right. So full marks to Image Works.

That sounds like a fair price for provide and fit. Good to hear from someone that has used them recently. I'd love to see pictures if thats possible, just to be nosey...

I didn't speak to them myself yet as I'm going to look at a full set of original plastics and tank tomorrow that are supposed to be good condition. Fingers crossed they are good.

As far as price, I'm not sure what it's worth. Difficult to place as she's in such good condition but obviously not the best on the outside, although this could be sorted with a good spray job

Does anyone have any idea how much I should look to pay for a full set of fairings and for a tank??? I don't have a clue!

Price wise a set used to change hands for 2 to 3 hundred but that was yonks ago. Last set solld here was about £500 and know doubt that figure will rise over time as the panels get even more scarcer.
If there good with maybe the odd blemish that's only to be expected and not been heavily repaired ie plastic welding etc then would reckon at least 400 upwards depending on scheme if good and can get the set for less then your onto a winner.
