I just use counter sinc bolts. I counter sinc the hub and put the bolts in the opposite way to how they are standard

Thanks for all the help, to answer question, I have tried fitting the rim first due to I haven't found one yet, I have only been able to find the adaptor first. FYI im looking for an RS250 17 x 5.5 NX5 rear wheel.

They do come up for sale from time to time , although with the 250 class at this years Manx I've got a feeling the prices for them will be going up , I found my pair in Greece
