on the contraty, its a testament to how good that oil is, 30,000 miles in a vehicle is fine with it.. 10,000 in a bike and 10,000 in a car had no trouble. the car is actually less stressful to the oil as its not being cut through a gearbox

Indeed engine oil for the latest car/truck diesel engines fitted with all the emmisions garbage is high tech stuff having to cope with dpf filters and all the other Gubbins for euro6 there's long life stuff that gives 100.000kms between changes in heavy trucks.

thats the stuff, he got a 45 gallon drum as a sample if i remember rightly.
lasts ages and breaks down really slowly
ill stick with my cheap 10/40 in the wet clutch bikes and 0/20 cheap cheap ultra low frition in all my cvt based scooters.

I run Penrite Gas-Ten (Australian Brand), it's exactly the same as their motorcycle oil but is marketed for cars, so I can regularly pick up 10L for $65
