Had a similar problem on my 23 due to the fuel pump being dud. (Replaced the original dud one with a cheap Chinese one) bike was very hard to start, and would cut out when I went more than a few miles. If I left it or fiddled around with it for 20 minutes it would start up again as the fuel had refilled the float bowls in the carbs.
I bypassed the fuel pump and disconnected it, the bike runs fine until you get to the high revs and 90+ MPH for prolonged periods of time. So the odd blip to hit the magical mark is fine but to hold that mark for thirty seconds and she starts to bog down. Waiting for that NOS pump at the right price to turn up! Ofc all on track at these speeds!
so won't be going to another track day before getting another pump.
