And red loctite!? If the threads are fine and you put red loctite on it then that bolt isn't moving. If it is, then something is seriously off.

When you say you 'drifted' the broken end out of the cam gear - Do you mean you hit it with a hammer and drift until it came out? If so, then I would say that your threads are toast
