Re: Winter refresh
I am yes, you've always had first dibs on it Joe. I'll PM you tomorrow (bit late now to start typing anything)[/quote]
Cheers mate, i'll check the old pm tomorrow.
Spike if I decide not to take it i'm sure you can have it. If Viper hasn't promised second dibs already that is.

Re: Winter refresh
They are currently available from the USA at $180 plus $24 delivery, now at todays rates that about £140 and hope not to get hit with import tax too. Not a cheap piece of kit but it's a quality item and I don't know of many more (if anyone) on here with one.Spike16 wrote:viper how much to they cost roughly?
Joe, PM sent.

Re: Winter refresh
Spike, Joe has taken the fender, sorry buddy.
OK,I hadn't planned on doing anything tonight but a firend called over and we did a little more. Front wheel is out and ready to get powdercoated, shock, subframe and undertray is gone to allow easier access to remove the rear manifold in preparation for the new system and the swingarm is ready to be removed to fit a replacement one in its stead. A few more pics from tonight,

Re: Winter refresh
It was the guy from e-Bay that made it but I bought it from a forum member as he no longer wanted it. Check Rhorys post about the e-Bay c/f dude, that's who made it.Spike16 wrote:nice swingarm protector, never noticed you had one, thats like mine but a bit longer, you dont what make it is do you? my mates after one but cant find one anywere

Re: Winter refresh
How the F*%$ did you manage to get the exhaust manifold off with the swingarm still fitted?!!!
Thats the reason I removed my engine and then decided to go with polishing everything!!

Re: Winter refresh
3 were ok to get out, but the far right was difficult, eventually got it out with a 10mm closed spanner. Took about 15 minutes but was straight forward enough. The subframe out was a help though.Smev wrote:How the F*%$ did you manage to get the exhaust manifold off with the swingarm still fitted?!!!
