I'm going to run a 4000ah zippy lipo designed for RC planes. I was a bit worried about the drain from the fuel pump for ram air but after speaking to the Swansea boys I've decided against a fuel pump so that's ok.

They will still be racing but not as much as they were now all of the original team has graduated.
They ran massive ridiculous main jets (ie loads of fuel) and didn't need a fuel pump. He said it's the fuel tap that lets it down, even with the HRC mod. When I get my ally tank made up I am going to use the same Yamaha (TZ250 I think) tap that they used.

Pingle make some good fuel taps, the big bore gixer boys use them.

No problemo, think Pringle do universal fitments as well so you can find something that fits your build.
Should read pingle I think.

The NC is going on a diet too:
False tank with an alloy fuel cell
Carbon ram airbox
Alloy/carbon brackets everywhere instead of the standard steel items
And we are designing a self-supporting carbon fibre seat unit
It all takes time though, but hopefully come next year it will be a bit of a beast & earn us some more trophies!
Where you getting the False tank with an alloy fuel cell?
And what brackets are you changing other than the subframes?
Its worth mentioning Mike Dorey at BMC Racing in Whitchurch makes alloy fuel cells and very nice they are too! His site is offline last time I looked but im sure he is still out there.

I spoke to them and they don't have the mould anymore. He estimated a cost of making me a one off an it was too much.
I'm having the cover made by a friend and then the tank as a separate unit by my local welder

Thats a shame. Then again if you go down that route you might be able to use better means than stand of mounting it. TeamV4 racing had Forge Motorsport make them a cell and used the front-most tail unit OE mount points as an anchor.
