So I've managed to get the bike running finally, now for the next issues.
I have two pipe connectors between the breathers and fuel rail on my carbs. They seems to be a vent to the float bowls but should these be connected to anything? I had no pipes on there but this seems like an easy way to fill your carbs with dirt.

The bike also wont idle at low revs, it just revs high and wont drop. The throttle is dropping back to the stops (so not jammed on) as is the choke and the idle screw is out. I also don't think air is getting at the rubber seals although I haven't replaced them. Any other suggestions?

Also I can't tell you what the bike is revving to because the clocks have decided not to work. Any help is greatly appreciated thanks.

Pm me your phone number and I'll call you when I'm home. Can't right now as little one is asleep in the car and it would wake her [emoji72][emoji99]

Make sure the carbs are balanced properly as they can cause poor running.
I found on mine that turning the pilot screws out sorted the high idle,, try half a turn each and see what happens, a screwdriver bit in its holder works well here just mark it so you can tell how far you turn the screws.
Be aware that an air leak also causes this.

Hey Dan.
I'm glad we got you sorted yesterday. As I said on the phone when you have more time let me know and we'll get the fine tuning done. Now you have a good base to work from it's just going to be small adjustments now. [emoji6]

Sounds perfect, I look forward to it. Hopefully I'll have plenty of information on how well it rides by then
