The shock itself should be fine to go in as is depending on your weight, 10+ stone and you'll probably have to upgrade the spring. The frame needs a little ground off a mount which will take you 5-10mins with a file if that, and its instructions are in the s1000rr. The biggest problem is moving the ignition coil, I did it wrong, so take your time working this one out if your ever planning on doing this mod

where did you move the coil to after watafu?

I moved it up into the cavity in front of the regulator and bolted it to a bit of metal mounted between the two subframe spars
