Perhaps next year I can join you fellas with those smokers!

What sort of money did you get that for (don't reply if you don't want to)?
It's a long time since I looked at 250's so have no idea what sort of money they go for?
Are there still plenty of engine parts for these?
Ive seen roadworthy 21 R models fo for as low as £2k, trouble is 99% of people that consider selling them see fastlines prices and have a go theirselfs as its the same old ones on ebay time and time again. Find a cheap resto project your end up rebuilding it anyway lol

Got it home tonight. Think I might have smoked out most of south east kent on the way home. Has been stood for a few years so that's to be expected.

I've never had a bike with a dry clutch before so it's quite alarming when you pull the clutch lever in and all hell breaks loose in the engine. lol

I love the sound of the dry clutch too, wanted to do the conversion on mine but the mc16 bottom end is slightly different :( how does the bike feel to ride compared to the nc's?

I briefly followed zippy today on the FZR and was amazed how much midrange grunt the NSR had, I know FZR's are not known for their great midrange but everytime he gunned it i had to drop a couple of gears and pin it just to stay in touch. Cant wait to get mine going

I've fitted the tank and rearsets to mine and it does feel really small to sit on I look silly enough riding an nc30 so god knows what it will be like when I'm on the NSR, really hoping it lives up to the hype.
